On rough days, I find myself grabbing my phone to scroll through photos… reminding myself of how my kiddo absolutely had to hold my hand to drift off to sleep or were so proud of themselves for climbing a tree the first time or… These ordinary everyday moments bring hope when parenting is hard. In the middle of meltdowns and tantrums and those days when you’re just in the thick of it, it’s grounding to be able to see a visual of how beautiful the life you’re building really is.
I’m informed on neurodiverse needs including having personal experience with SPD, Autism, and ADHD. Please communicate with me about how I may support accommodations to help you/your kids have the best experience possible. My gentle connection-based approach to posing helps create a less stressful dynamic for those who have high anxiety about participating.

Each type of session has a very different feel and flow. Here are brief descriptions of each so you can decide which is best for you!
ALL SESSIONS INCLUDE the very best & fully edited images. Delivery is via an online gallery where you can download all the photos (downloads included in session cost) and also easily purchase prints or products as desired.
Prints are a separate cost; there is no obligation for additional purchases or minimum order amount.

Mini Sessions - $375
Mini sessions are apx. 20 min. long and available year-round on weekdays only in the Fircrest-Tacoma area. (Sign up for our newsletter to be notified of Seasonal or Adventure Minis held on weekend dates!)
Applicable for families, couples (engagement or anniversary sessions), portraits, and maternity. Not applicable for newborns - we just need more time with tiny babies.
These are typically more structured posing and ideal if you just want a handful of updated portraits or would like to capture your family seasonally. -
Family Sessions - $700
These sessions are specifically designed to have a relaxed; connection-based flow to the time together. There’s lots of interacting, sneakily catching smiles and details, laughing, play, and documentary images. I offer prompts and help you adjust for the most flattering angles. We spend very limited time on posed portraits.
These are ideal for toddlers and small children who need to run and play, anyone who feels uncomfortable with structured posing, and clients who need neurodiverse accommodations or some time to feel comfortable.
Each session is apx. one hour long and includes all the best digital images along with a link to easily order prints. Sessions are not limited by the number of family members, however, if greater than 6 participants, we may need additional time. Immediate family members only - please inquire if interested in extended family sessions. -
Adventure Sessions - $1000
Very similar to the flow of family sessions, these are designed for connection and play with extra time for a short hike or to travel to a stunning location. Location scouting included. Travel up to 3 hours from Tacoma and all State/National Parks permitting included for photographer only.
While we are visiting these wild spaces we will implement Leave No Trace values such as respecting other visitors, staying on trail, respecting wildlife, and protecting the delicate ecology of the area.
These sessions are flexible timing (typically 1 hour, however, up to 3 hours if significant hiking is involved) and ideal for active families or those who would love to take updated portraits in one of our national or state parks.
Newborns - $850
I offer lifestyle newborn sessions at home, in studio, or in your birth center/hospital as permitted per your providers and facility.
”Lifestyle newborn session” means these continue with my standard of connection based posing vs. highly stylized images. You hold your baby, interact with them, get older siblings in on the action, and we capture the beautiful chaos that is those early days. As a germaphobe, I’m careful to scrub my hands thoroughly beforehand + limit any adjusting needed - always with permission.
These sessions are priced higher than a typical hour-long family session because they’re specifically designed with extra flexibility on time in order to accommodate baby’s and your postpartum needs and include additional retouching services for your newborn.
Extended Families - Starting at $600 for 20 min.
Final pricing is dependent on the number of participants and goals for the session - whether you’re aiming for an unposed lifestyle feel or stylized group images.
Studio Sessions
Tacoma and Seattle have a large variety of studios available to rent.
Rental fees vary and quotes will be custom per the location.
Client closet available with no additional fees.
